The Thibodeaux experiment is over.

The Knicks made history Monday night.

Up by nine points with 44 seconds, left in the game and the Knicks still lost to the Dallas Mavericks

Hilarious!

Can Knicks fans finally publicly state that it's time for the coach to go? If you cannot, you are being completely dishonest to yourselves and each other.

If Dolan doesn't have the guts to hire Mark Jackson, then Ime Udoka needs to get in here and salvage this season.

The Thibodeaux experiment is over.

Luka Dončić is another in a long line of stars who love to come into Madison Square Garden and take a dump on this team. And it's so easy to do.

Quentin Grimes, Immanuel Quickly and Mitchell Robinson played very well but need a fresh new coach to take their games to the next level.

The benching of Cam Reddish through this four game losing streak is reprehensible. Fans have a right to be dejected as long as this coach has the reins.

Knicks lose again, Dallas 126-Knicks 121.

Only two Knicks showed up for the game

Yesterday, against the Dallas Mavericks, the Knicks won...the points in the paint.

As for the game? It was close until Hardaway and Luka went nuts from in the third quarter and pulled away permanently with a 17-0 run.

Luka Dončić and former Knick draft pick, Tim Hardaway Jr. had their way with the entire Knicks team in Madison Square Garden.

Again, RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin were completely wastes of minutes. They could have stayed home and contributed more.

Julius Randle and Immanuel Quickley were the only two Knicks that showed up for the game.

The Knicks are no match for a versatile team that can rain down three balls.

Knicks lose again, Dallas 121-Knicks 100. And after halftime, it wasn't even that close.

See what player development can do?

I was watching videos of Donovan Mitchell to see what the hype is and I kept seeing this lanky dude shutting him down. Just making his life miserable.

On closer inspection I saw that the guard giving Michell so much most trouble was none other than Frank Ntilikina. I couldn't believe it either.

So, I searched for a Frank Ntilikina highlight tape of the past season on YouTube. I was floored by his development from the last time I saw him, which was in a Knicks uniform.

Don't get me wrong, Frank is not setting the league on fire averaging 4 points per game, but his game had improved so significantly I had to find out it happened.

Frank is now crossing up dudes, euro stepping, hitting jumpers, setting up alley-oops so much so that his game now looks a lot like Caris LeVert's. But how could this be?

My digging paid off. I found out that the Dallas Mavericks added a couple of years ago a new point guard coach and you can clearly see his influence. That coach is God Shammgod.

For you whipper snappers who may not know. God Shammgod is a point guard from New York City that changed the way the ball is handled in the NBA today.

Now that Brunson is out of the way in Dallas I can see Frank getting a lot more minutes and finally becoming the player that Knicks fans had been hoping for. And get this, Frank is only 24 years old! See what player development can do?

Very interesting.

By the way, the Nets roster has only gotten better since the end of the season. Tsai ain't giving KD nothing but a doorag and some nunile, his ass ain't going nowhere.

Brunson wants to be a Knick for what?

The Knicks made a series of ridiculous moves last night to position itself to make a move for the Dallas Mavericks free agent point guard Jalen Brunson. Some reports say the deal is a 4 year, 100-million-dollar contract.

Brunson is ok but I thought there were a bunch of young guards in the draft that have a much bigger upside than Mr. Brunson.

Sadly, I think the part of the fan base that supports going after Brunson is going to be deeply disappointed for the following reasons.

Brunson wants to be a Knick for what?

  • To pay outrageous wage taxes?
  • To pay outrageous property costs and property taxes?
  • To play for the worst run franchise in professional sports?
  • To leave Luka Doncic, a bonafide hall of famer in Dallas with ten more years left at his peak?
  • To leave his coach Jason Kidd to play for the inflexible Thibodeaux?
  • To face the most mean and sarcastic group of sportswriters in the world every day?
  • To play in that dump Madison Square Garden?
  • To play for an owner that has his goons beat up retired former players?

Brunson would be the biggest idiot in the world to play for the Knicks, especially when Dallas can match any contract the Knicks offer.

New York Knicks fans your ignorance brought this all on yourselves.

Coming off last year’s surprising season, with the emergence of Julius Randle as a star and the vaunted Knicks defense the city was excited for a deep playoff run this season.

But something strange has happened.

Just a couple of weeks into the new season the Knicks and the fans are shook.

With the vast improvement of the roster the Knicks don't even look like a playoff team.

Knicks fans are in a quandary as much as the Knicks coaching staff searching for the problem that is source of their angst.

Well Knicks fans, look no further than your defense, particularly in the backcourt.

The Knicks so far this season according to nba.com is ranked 26th out of 30 teams.

So far, this season opposing teams bench players are coming into Madison Square Garden and having career scoring nights, mostly from the backcourt.

The Knicks have the worst defense against the 3-point ball of any team.

Where is the intense defense? Where is the guy that forced shooters to rush shots or completely run away from the three-point line?

Where is the guard big and strong enough to switch to a big player and still manage to force difficult shots?

Well Knicks fans, that guy is now playing for the Dallas Mavericks and his name is Frank Ntilikina.

The other night due to injuries Frank was forced to play against the Spurs and despite only having six points Frank was the margin of victory for Dallas.

Frank's defensive energy, toughness and size made his minutes a +24 against the Spurs and sealed the deal in victory.

This was never appreciated by New York as an organization or fan base and now the team is spiraling out of control and one of the worst defensive backcourts this team has had in decades.

Tonight, against LaMelo Ball and the smooth Gordon Hayward Knicks fans, who you got to even make the game difficult for those dudes let alone stop them?

In Frank you had a guy who could handle defensively any teams best point guard, shooting guard and small forward on any given night.

In Charlotte, just as against most teams this season, the Knicks have no one who can give any resistance to those positions and the Knicks get ate up especially when RJ Barrett is having another of his inconsistent shooting games.

Last season in Knicks chatrooms, discords, and forums it was so interesting seeing these low basketball IQ fans dogging Frank. Some of them even going so far as questioning his sexuality because they only measure dominance by the number of points a player scores.

Little did they know or understand that they had the equivalent of Dennis Rodman but in the position of guard.

Like Dennis, the guy’s mere presence and annoyance on defense is enough to be the margin of victory even when his point total is in the single digits. All because there was no flashing field on the scoreboard showing how many points that man prevented.

New York Knicks fans your ignorance brought this all on yourselves. Good luck at even making the playoffs this season all because you people don't know as much about basketball as you think you do. But believe me, you are going to learn this season.

Frank I am so happy for you. Find peace in your game and continue to ball out.

Great organization, city and fans...in Dallas

"When I played against the Mavericks last year, I liked the way they competed as a team," Bullock said. "They got great players, so it was an easy no-brainer for me."

"I felt like that the skillset that I have was easy for me to be able to make this move to be able to come down and be around a great organization, a great city, and great fans and just bring my game here."

Are we going to start this fucking shit all over again?

November 27, 2011 It was a cool and bright Sunday morning and I had just finished my coffee and bacon, egg and cheese on a toasted roll sandwich. I saw a couple of cute hookers when I went to the veggie stand and all was right with the world.

Well, all was right with the world until the sports talk on the radio shifted from the particulars of the NBA agreement reached yesterday to Knicks talk and my rage began.

Now, I know I said last season that I'd never write another post for this blog again and I was really hoping to keep my word but these fuckers on the radio have pissed me off again and I need to say a quick word or two which is a better alternative to going outside and shooting cats with my BB gun.

It wasn't the idiotic Mike D'Antoni talk that set me off today. I think the hiring of Mike Woodson is Jim Dolan's way of putting Mikey on notice about what will happen if the team starts off poorly and I am good with that. Defensive coach, lol, yeah right.

Nor was it the foolish 'Chauncey Billups will lead us to the promised land' claptrap from callers. If the Knicks don't pull off a deal to move that 14 million dollar contract of Billup's for Marc Gasol they are officially a bunch of retards.

The fucks on the radio are still wondering if there is another free agent center out there that would be a better fit than Amare Stoudemire. Umm, dick wads, Amare is not a center and he broke down physically last year because he is constantly playing out of position. Are we going to start this fucking shit all over again this abbreviated season? Really?

If the Knicks don't address the point guard and center position look for them to repeat the one and done playoff appearance of last season and will repeat every season going forward.

Are these fans and "analysts" ever going to get it?

Let's hope that Landry Fields put up at least 50 thousand 18 foot jump shots during the off season so that someone can take advantage of the mid range opportunities that will present themselves when Amare and Carmelo are on the court at the same time. We shall see.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to fire up my new Hector Lavoe playlist and practice my new Salsa steps.
